![]() ![]() This is not an issue if I have the app already open and transition via the navigation menu, only when re-opening the app. I have noticed that when I open the Plex app if my account was the last one used and then I select my daughter's account from the initial listing, which is not locked, my content is displayed briefly before it loads up hers. I have several Plex accounts setup on my PMS in order to isolate family content, mine is locked with a pass code while others are not. Playback Device: Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote ![]() Transcode Reason: DTS audio is not supported by the device Showing the data overlay while playing back a DTS movie with AC3 and EAC3 disabled reveals the following: ![]() Obviously, I can't tell the kids to determine the audio format of the movie they want to watch and then change the audio settings accordingly so. ![]() I've also found that disabling AC3 and EAC3 in the audio settings of the Plex Fire TV app allows the DTS movies to play (though I assume they are down mixed to just two channels?) but disabling those features prevents movies with AC3 audio from playing in the same way as DTS movies do with the settings enabled. Please ensure the server is available and retry.Īfter some investigation, it turns out that these movies all have DTS soundtracks - those with AC3 audio play without a hitch. Playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost. Everything seemed to be fine until I found that various movies simply refused to play at all, with the following error: I've just set up a new Fire TV Stick (the 2017 one with Alexa voice remote) and of course the first thing I did was install Plex. ![]()
